About Todowing
Todowing is an unofficial Chrome extension for the Todoist web app. Todoist flattens sub-tasks in date and filter views. Todowing shows them nested under their parent in Today, Upcoming, Filter, Label and board views, up to four levels deep, with due date, priority and labels on every row. You can complete or reopen a sub-task without opening the task.
The free tier also includes seven color palettes and a text-size slider from 85% to 200%. It caps sub-task rows at 5 per top-level task.
The one-time Lifetime unlock removes the row limit and adds adding, renaming and reordering sub-tasks from the row, a hide-done toggle, filing a task under a parent in another project, focus sessions with a countdown card, time estimates with totals in Todoist's header, a font picker with about 50 Google Fonts, a markdown notes scratchpad above Today, and read-only Apple Calendar events in Today. Future paid upgrades are included.
Pricing: the free tier needs no account. Lifetime unlock costs $19.99 one-time, with no subscription and a 14-day refund. Todoist Pro is not required.
Privacy: your Todoist API token stays in your browser and goes only to the official Todoist API. Tasks never pass through Todowing's servers, and the extension has no analytics or tracking.
Works in Chrome only, inside the Todoist web app or a Todoist window installed as a Chrome app. It does not run in the Todoist desktop app. Made by Red Pixel. Not affiliated with Doist.
